Ok, here's the business... I grew up shuttling between Updtate NY and NYC (Da Bronx Baby!!) and transplanted myself to the DC area in January 2006 to do this post-college adulthood thing (but shhhh, don't tell Sallie Mae I'm here). I spend my weekdays doing the 9-5 at the office plantation and the rest of my time tap dancing and getting into stuff I've probably got no business getting in. I think hard, play hard, and love hard. I'm kinda shy, kinda outspoken, kinda crazy. I don't have a problem saying what's on my mind. Sometimes I get deep, sometimes I get mad, but most of the time I'm saying "What the f**k!?" to something or another. I'm enjoying my life journey so far--missteps and all. I'm not going to listen because I might tear up this office dancing around in here. lol Have a great weekend!
AHHHH I love them!! Time for me to head to the bathroom or the lobby and start dancing LOL..then again maybe not
Why can't they make groups like that anymore? My friends and I use to joke that Boys 2 Men were the dudes you took home to meet your parents, but Jodeci were the boys you hopped out of your window and snuck off to be with. Jamming in my office. Thanks for this one.
lol...sugar? and honey libra? wow...y'all going to tear the spot up like dat?
I was just talking about them recently. I am living in a timewarp of the 80's and 90's when it comes to my fave music.
i suppose the only artists that really strike my fancy lately are NE-YO and a few Chris Brown songs. in terms of groups, I haven't found a brand new group that can hold a candle to the harmony of Boys II Men or of course NE...where it all started from....other than the jacksons.
great post...
peace
Boys II Men was my [stuff] back in the day. I used to spend my little bit of bucks on every CD they had.
Girl, you bringing back some oooold memories.
cool post!
One of those brothers is sick now. I heard an interview with them a little while ago. I think it's the brother who sang bass.
